Efficacy of topical rose (Rosa damascena) oil in the treatment of cervicitis: a randomized clinical trial
- Cervicitis (the most common disease of the female reproductive system) can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility
- The study aimed to investigate the effect of rose oil on cervicitis.
- 80 women, aged 17-55 years, diagnosed with cervicitis, were given 3 ml per night vaginally for 2 weeks.
- Significant improvement in symptoms such as burning, itching, vaginal discharge, pain, bleeding and pain after intercourse, tenderness.
- Use of vaginal preparation with rose oil without side effects and complications, suitable as an alternative treatment.
- The study confirmed the safety and effectiveness of rose oil medicine in the treatment of cervicitis.

- They contain about 30% sugars, pectins, tannins, organic acids, flavonoids, mucilages and essential oil.
- Substances in the fruit increase the body's immunity, in flu, infectious diseases.

Use of rosehip and sea buckthorn oil for cosmetic purposes
- The flowers and cores of rose hips have the widest application in the cosmetic industry.
- Oil is then obtained from rosehip seeds, which contains essential fatty acids, vitamins, antioxidants, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and beta carotenes.
- The high proportion of Omega-6 fatty acid (40-55%) has an effect on the cell membrane.
